Leadership Development Opportunities

Appalachian State University is committed to providing its students with a liberal education both in and out of the classroom. A significant aspect of this out-of-class learning and growth involves participation in student organizations. Leadership development is an important skill that individuals can obtain through participation in these groups. The Center for Student Involvement and Leadership along with other University agencies offers a wide variety of leadership development opportunities to students. These opportunities are designed to assist you while in college and in later life roles. Taking advantage of these opportunities will provide you with experiences and skills that will broaden your educational experience.
